Quilt Guild Challenge...Favorite Place – in postcard style? I chose Greece. We had just been to Greece and everywhere you go there are these good luck charms. It's a Mati – the Evil Eye – which protects you from an Evil Eye Curse.
A little history - Blue-eyed people were very rare in the Mediterranean thousands of years ago. They were thought to be able to curse someone just by looking at them.
